In 2–3 well-developed sentences, reflect on how you spent your Holiday Break. Then, identify four personal you would like to achieve this year and briefly explain why each goal is important to you (Copy and paste your completed response from Writable into your blog).

Over Winter Break, I went to Louisiana to visit my grandma and other family. On Christmas Eve, I went to church for the vesper service and then had gumbo at my aunt's house. Then on Christmas Day, I opened presents with my family and spent the rest of the day fishing.

My first goal is I hope to save $5000which will let me have money in case something happens. To accomplish this goal, I will work hard at my job and save 50% of every paycheck.

My second goal is to catch 100 fish. This goal is important to my mental health because I didn´t catch enough last year. To accomplish this goal, I will fish every weekend that I can and won't give up when the fish aren't biting. I will also invest in better gear.

My third goal is to get all A's. This goal will make my parents happy and help me get into college. To achieve this goal, I will study for tests and be sure I don't have any missing assignments.

My fourth goal is to get a 30 on my ACT. This will set me up for college. To achieve this goal, I will study every night and get an ACT tutor.

Today in class, we went over the expectations for the class, then wrote down 4 goals for the year.  I was able to identify and write 4 SMART goals, like the example we were given. These goals give me a plan and path for the year to come, allowing me to focus on what I need to do.
