Based on the first 40 minutes of the film and Chapters 1–11 of the book, does the visual version of Chris’s journey make his choices seem more justified or more reckless than the text does? Explain how the medium (film vs writing) shapes your perspective.

 By allowing you to hear and see the emotions of Chris and his family we see a more relatable side to Chris and make his choices seem more justified as well as making him seem more prepared. Today we did an assignment on the video we watched. This deepened our understanding of the film.
