In Into the Wild, Christopher McCandless gives up many of his possessions in pursuit of freedom and meaningful experiences. If you had to simplify your life and keep only a few important possessions, what would you keep and why? What would be hardest to leave behind?

I would probably keep things like my phone and other things that I use often like a TV or car. If I had to survive with these items like McCandless does I would opt for more essential items like water, portable shelter like a tent, something to hunt and fish with, and something to make fire or cook with. I was absent today but I saw  that we are on chapter 4 of the book and we did a Writeable today.
